Funding a claim
The biggest concern when considering bringing a claim is often how much it will cost. There are various ways that this can be dealt with:
- We offer no win no fee agreements (conditional fee agreements). This means that we will not charge you if we do not win.
- Legal expenses - you may find that you have legal expenses insurance that would assist you in pursuing a claim. This is normally attached to your household contents policy, motor insurance or other insurance policies.
- Private funding - this may be appropriate in certain circumstances where a conditional fee agreement is not suitable and legal expenses insurance is not available.
- Legal Aid - this is no longer available for negligently caused personal injury claims but is available in certain limited circumstances. The fact that legal aid may not be available should not deter you from contacting us.
- At your initial meeting all the above would be discussed with you in detail to find the most suitable and appropriate way for your claim to be funded.
