What can you claim?
A compensation claim is split into two parts.
General damages - this is the award that you receive for your actual injury which can be both physical and psychological. It represents compensation for your pain and suffering. Special damages - these are specific financial losses and expenses that you may suffer as a result of the accident and also include future losses that you may incur. Examples of these losses are:-

- Future treatment costs
- Future care costs
