Record Needed
When you come and see us, we will need to obtain many types of records from different sources and will ask you to sign authorities. Those records will include:-
- Social care records held by the Local Authority if you were in care
- Care home records which are vital if you were abused in a care home or another type of institution
- GP records
- Criminal records
- Educational records
- Prison records
- Probation records
- Hospital records
- Employment records
We will also want to trace any police statements that you have given and any documents from any criminal trial you were involved with against your abuser.
